SUMMARY OF POSITION
TCOLE certified peace officer who works closely with Office of the County Attorney personnel, various law enforcement agencies, and others for the purpose of preparing, reviewing, building, assembling, filing, and/or disposing of criminal, juvenile, and CPS cases, as well as mental commitments and protective orders.

ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
1. High school graduation, or its equivalent, plus five to seven years of experience working in the law enforcement; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & TRAINING REQUIRED
1. Advanced Peace Officer certification by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education (TCOLE);
2. Valid Texas driver’s license;
3. Annual continuing law enforcement training coursework;
4. Must be bondable
