Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.     This RN Manager Critical/Progressive Care Units will join an established critical care team and oversee all day to day activities for two busy units. Responsibilities for this Nurse Manager include oversight of budgets, staffing, departmental/organization goals, holding quarterly meetings, meeting with upper leadership to ensure quality and long term goals are upheld/achieved, and fostering a positive work environment for departmental staff. This role required a dynamic nurse leader, not afraid to be hands on with staff to promote top-notch care.

    Requirements for the role include:

    • BSN and active VT RN licensure (or ability to obtain)
    • 5 years of experience in an acute care hospital critical care setting
    • 3 years of leadership experience (charge, supervisor, assistant nurse manager)
