Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Critical Care Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. The Critical Care Registered Nurse will be able to firsthand experience the state-of-the-art facilities and see the dramatic impact of utilizing advanced technology in the 50 bed facility. 

    Reporting up to the ICU Manager and CCRN Critical Care Charge Nurse, the Critical Care Registered Nurse oversees patient care throughout the shift. This person will work closely with other RNs, LPNs, CNAs, HUCs, and Critical Care Medical professionals in order to ensure compassionate and competent care.

    Throughout the shift, the Critical Care Registered Nurse organizes medication administration as well as documentation for the patients. The RN will respond to medical emergencies and work in a fast-paced environment. The Critical Care Registered Nurse communicates with patients, families, and hospital employees.

    Located in Eastern Washington, this hospital has access to many beautiful scenic adventures along with cultural goings on. The Critical Care Registered Nurse will have the opportunity to delve into the Walla Walla wine country, or visit many state parks.
