Responsibilities:
- Mentor and lead a team of MQ engineers responsible for our critical IBM MQ services
- Collaborate with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
- Ensure the quality, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions
- Stay updated on technology trends, experiment with new technologies, engage in technology communities, and mentor other engineers
- Encourage innovation, diversity, outside-the-box thinking, teamwork, and self-organization
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- Minimum of 6 years of experience implementing, configuring, and optimizing IBM WebSphere MQ
- Minimum of 4 years of people management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience with IBM WebSphere MQ
- 3 years of experience with AWS
- 2 years of experience in Agile practices
Salary:
Please note that the salary range mentioned is specific to the location mentioned below. The offer for part-time roles will be prorated based on the agreed-upon number of hours.
Location: New York City (Hybrid On-Site)
Salary Range: $195,200 - $222,800 for Senior Manager, Platform Engineering
Please be aware that candidates hired for other locations will receive salaries based on the specific location.
