The Sports Platform Product Manager will be responsible for driving, developing and evangelizing the product roadmap for some of the biggest Sports on the BetMGM Trading Platform. The platform supports the events, markets and betting opportunities we make available to our customers in Digital and Retail; and the tools our Trading & Risk Management teams utilize to manage our Sportsbook offering.

 

The Sports Platform Product Manager will ensure our customers have the most engaging market offering, with high availability, combinability and expeditious settlement. Owning the market lifecycle from creation, & price efficiency through to settlement - including feed and partner integrations. With an optimized market offering, the Sports Platform Product Manager will work closely with Trading & Risk Management teams to allow effective management of markets and minimize our risk exposure.

 

The Sports Platform Product Manager will be the champion for operational efficiencies, maximizing margin and outstanding customer experience when it comes to our market offering. We expect our Product Managers to use qualitative and quantitative research as well as product discovery techniques to make sure our market offering is competitive, priced efficiently and supports great customer experiences. The role will work with team members & stakeholders across product, trading, user research, engineering, product design and marketing functions to create well-researched and innovative market offerings; always keeping a close eye on the competitive landscape and drawing inspiration from a wide variety of digital products and experiences.

 

Our data-driven Product Managers thrive on the challenge of complex problems and exciting opportunities for our business. They build effective relationships, understand complex business problems, manage competing priorities, and work collaboratively with engineering & design teams to deliver exceptional products to customers.

 

The Sports Platform Product Manager should be a highly motivated and energized individual, effective communicator, and with an excellent ability to present to and gather feedback from stakeholders. They should contribute meaningfully to creating a culture of excellence and driving the practice of product management and innovation, helping BetMGM create the future of sports and entertainment.

 

Qualifications  

 

As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations.  Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies.  Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment.  Please note that the licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records, financial history, and personal background verification.
