Crossing Guard jobs in Bethlehem, PA

The Bethlehem Police Department is currently hiring Crossing Guards. The position is responsible for directing pedestrians across the street and stopping traffic, as necessary, in the areas around schools during students' morning commute to school and afternoon commute home.

Requirements:

• Crossing Guards must have their own transportation;
• Must be available to work 2 shifts per day (both morning and afternoon). Each shift is 60 - 90 minutes. Start time for morning shift is between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. Start time for afternoon shift is between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
• Must be able to work approximately 15 hours per week;
• Must obtain required background checks (PA State Police, FBI, and Child Abuse).

Reflective vest and stop paddle are provided.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
