```Job Summary:```

Kids Crossing is seeking an Office Assistant to join our team. The Office Assistant will be responsible for receiving clients and foster families appropriately with respect and kindness. The Office Assistant will also be responsible for ensuring that there are adequate supplies and materials for staff to perform their job duties and that office machines are operating properly.

```Responsibilities:```

• Performing reception duties, i.e. greeting, and announcing visitors.
• Answering telephone and directing callers to appropriate extensions.
• Attend different trainings and becoming proficient in Trust Based Relational Intervention methods.
• Coordinating building and grounds maintenance (snow removal, plumbing repairs, etc.).
• Providing administrative support to all staff as needed.
• Facilitating communication between the Kids Crossing offices.
• Maintaining confidentiality and following The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act guidelines.

```Requirements:```

1.Must be able to use standard office equipment, including a computer, fax machine, copier and multi-line telephone system

2. Must complete a Kids Crossing employment application.

3. Must pass background investigations, i.e. CBI, FBI, Central Registry.

4. Must be able to accurately and efficiently complete paperwork, reports, and documentation.
