Production Grinding Machine Operator

$500 Sign On Bonus

Location:

• Chippewa Falls, WI

Salary:

• We offer competitive pay which ranges between $50,000 - $56,400, paid out hourly at $24.03-$27.12including shift differential up to 15%. Pay will be determined on experience with potential overtime opportunity

Hours:

• Wissota currently operates under three different shifts; however, these positions are for the 2nd or 3rd shift. 2nd shift schedule is Monday to Friday 3 PM to 11 PM. 3rd shift schedule is Sundays 7 PM to 7 AM, Monday to Wednesday 11 PM to 7 AM. This schedule covers 36 hours; however, employee will be paid for full 40 hours.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set Up and operate ID Grinding Machine.
• Operate ring inspections, deburr all parts and perform troubleshooting.
• Complete in-process inspections of parts by identifying malfunctions or out-of-tolerance grinding; adjusts controls of machine to correct errors.
• Inspect and measure completed production units to identify defects caused by machine setup.
• Perform equipment maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a safe and orderly production area with the ability to meet production standards.
• Understand decimals and basic Mathematics.
• Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma required.
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Highly Preferred:

• Physical ability to operate and repair machines.
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and stretching.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds at times.
