Curriculum Manager manages the design and development of training programs, curriculum, methods, and materials for various audiences, including employees, managers, customers, or other learners. Oversees skill assessments and collects input to identify training or development needs, goals, gaps, and requirements. Being a Curriculum Manager consults with subject matter experts to define learning objectives and to design appropriate course content and training curriculum. Develops curricula supporting defined competency models or skill frameworks. Additionally, Curriculum Manager provides outlines, syllabus, lecture notes, and materials for in-person or online courses and self-study programs. Participates in the selection of software or collaboration tools used for training. Establishes metrics used to evaluate training effectiveness and analyzes outcomes to determine ROI and recommend changes to programs. May select and manage vendors that provide training materials or conduct training. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Curriculum Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Curriculum Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Your Daily Adventures

    As a Full-Time Curriculum Developer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational content that drives our company’s mission. The successful candidate will have a passion for creating dynamic and effective curriculum, a strong background in education, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. You will also collaborate with other departments to assure the quality and continuity of your material.

    • Develop and design engaging curriculum materials that aligns with educational standards.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that curriculum meets the needs of diverse learners.
    • Utilize previous teaching experience to create content that resonates with educators and students.
    • Ensure curriculum materials are current, relevant, and reflect best practices in education.
    • Work efficiently within tight deadlines without compromising quality.
    • Create and deliver quality Professional Development sessions for both virtual and in person teaching.

    Note: Some travel may be required for this position.
    You must reside in one of the following states: UT, CA, WA, ID, FL, TX, NC, IL, IN, WI, VA.

    Note: Communication about this position and first interviews won't take place until the first week in January to allow for the holidays.

    Your Qualities

    • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or related field.
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Growth Mindset with flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a startup culture.
    • Self motivated and able to prioritize projects.
    • Experience creating curriculum for educational programs.
    • Proven track record of meeting educational standards and objectives.
    • Previous K-12 teaching experience.
    • Strong writing skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.
    • Nice to have: Familiarity with coding concepts and languages, particularly Python, JavaScript, HTML, and Java.
    • Nice to have: Ability to create curriculum content related to coding, cybersecurity, and programming.

    Accessibility:
    This position mostly comprises computer work. The candidate must be able to sit for long periods of time, use a keyboard and mouse, and work at a desk for extended periods of time.
