Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Curriculum Coordinator to join our team! We have two child development centers that are open from 6:30am-6pm. The Curriculum Coordinator will work with both San Antonio Books & Bibs Child Care & Learning Academy locations at:

3030 E. Commerce St. and 6756 Montgomery Dr.

Qualifications:

-2-year Curriculum Coordinator or other related experience in early education curriculum and has 2-years minimum classroom experience

-Transportation

Role Responsibilities:

-Consistently follows through with all assignments

-Stays abreast of developments in the field of Early Childhood Education

-Strong analytical, decision making, and verbal communication skills required

-Ability to motivate and resolve conflicts

-Ability and willingness to work a flexible full-time schedule that may include weekends and holidays

-Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills

-Professional presentation and attitude

-Ability to communicate with, motivate others, analyze, and solve problems, fostering a positive work environment

-Ability to exercise appropriate, independent judgment calls

-Knowledge of State and local standards

-Knowledge of early child development and appropriate practices

-Ability to ensure safe, loving, learning environment for children

-Strong effective, interpersonal skills

-Participates in activities of professional and personal growth

-Be an excellent role model to other teachers and maintains a model classroom

-Monitors staff’s weekly lesson plans to ensure curriculum is being implemented daily, and to ensure the appropriateness of other planned activities

-Assists in coordination of school-wide special curriculum events

-Coordinates sharing and use of supplies requested by teachers

(Takes requests of supplies from teachers, fills requests as much as possible in house and makes list of items that need to be purchased.)

-Monitors and assists with New Hire Onboarding Training Plan

-Works with teachers on maintaining quality classroom environments

-Keeps inventory of curriculum materials

-Completes any additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
