Curriculum Specialist jobs in New Britain, CT
Curriculum Specialist designs and develops training programs, curriculum, methods, and materials for various audiences, including employees, managers, customers, or other learners. Conducts skill assessments and collects input to identify training or development needs, goals, gaps, and requirements. Being a Curriculum Specialist consults with subject matter experts to define learning objectives and to design appropriate course content and training curriculum. Develops curricula supporting defined competency models or skill frameworks. Additionally, Curriculum Specialist writes and edits outlines, syllabus, lecture notes, and materials for in-person or online courses and self-study programs. Evaluates the software or collaboration tools to be selected for training. Establishes metrics to use to evaluate training effectiveness. May collaborate with vendors that provide training materials or conduct training. May coach trainers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Curriculum Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Employment: Full-time, 32 hours per week
Schedule: Monday- FridayPosition Summary: As an LPN with Women’s Health CT, you will deliver the highest quality patient care.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments.
- Triage patient phone calls.
- Administer prescribed patient’s medication, treatments and therapies according to physician’s orders.
- Coordinate care plans.
- Support the Provider team, as needed
- Maintain a clear communication with other members of the patients' multi-disciplinary team.
- Fostering a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.
Skills/qualifications:
- Current state issued LPN license.
- 2-3years of Women's Health- Ob/Gyn experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- 1-2 years of Triage or Tele-health experience.
- Out-patient, ER/Urgent Care environment, is preferred.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.
- Goal oriented and a team player.
- Patient and Customer service focused.
