Curriculum Specialist designs and develops training programs, curriculum, methods, and materials for various audiences, including employees, managers, customers, or other learners. Conducts skill assessments and collects input to identify training or development needs, goals, gaps, and requirements. Being a Curriculum Specialist consults with subject matter experts to define learning objectives and to design appropriate course content and training curriculum. Develops curricula supporting defined competency models or skill frameworks. Additionally, Curriculum Specialist writes and edits outlines, syllabus, lecture notes, and materials for in-person or online courses and self-study programs. Evaluates the software or collaboration tools to be selected for training. Establishes metrics to use to evaluate training effectiveness. May collaborate with vendors that provide training materials or conduct training. May coach trainers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Curriculum Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Medical Assistant
Duties:
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Prepare patients for X-ray procedures and assist with positioning and equipment setup
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
- Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment
Skills:
- Proficient in performing X-rays and operating X-ray equipment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare providers
- Excellent attention to detail to accurately record patient information and perform tasks
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and documentation requirements
