Conducts skill assessments and collects input to identify training or development needs, goals, gaps, and requirements. Being a Curriculum Specialist, Sr. consults with subject matter experts to define learning objectives and to design appropriate course content and training curriculum. Develops curricula supporting defined competency models or skill frameworks. Additionally, Curriculum Specialist, Sr. writes and edits outlines, syllabus, lecture notes, and materials for in-person or online courses and self-study programs. Evaluates the software or collaboration tools to be selected for training. Establishes metrics to use to evaluate training effectiveness. May collaborate with vendors that provide training materials or conduct training. May coach trainers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Sr. Electrical Designer
Position is based out of the Portage, IN office, will work with project managers, engineers and other designers involved in the design, modification, and analysis of industrial plant electrical systems.
Responsibilities will include:
· Preparation of the following engineering drawings: Single line diagrams and panelboard layouts, Conduit and cable tray plans/ sections/ details designed to NEC. Conduit and cable schedules utilizing equipment layouts and vendor schematics, Conduit block diagrams and interconnection diagrams based on equipment layouts and vendor terminal block information.
· Learn and maintain proper drafting procedures and standards per CET and their client’s AutoCAD
standards
· Ability to accompany other personnel on field surveys in an industrial environment to gather
information, occasional one or two day travel might be required.
· Attend meetings and interface with clients, vendors and contractors
· Direct and supervise junior level designers and drafters as needed to complete projects
· Communicate with the engineers and designers from other departments to insure correct and up
to date information is uniform.
· ETAP or SKM preferable but not required.
· Flexible schedule between 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
· This is not a remote position.
Degree in Electrical engineering or electrical technology or equivalent work experience.
