Being a Curriculum Specialist, Sr. consults with subject matter experts to define learning objectives and to design appropriate course content and training curriculum. Develops curricula supporting defined competency models or skill frameworks. Additionally, Curriculum Specialist, Sr. writes and edits outlines, syllabus, lecture notes, and materials for in-person or online courses and self-study programs. Evaluates the software or collaboration tools to be selected for training. Establishes metrics to use to evaluate training effectiveness. May collaborate with vendors that provide training materials or conduct training. May coach trainers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. We are seeking an E-Learning Curriculum Development Specialist to join our team and contribute to the enhancement of online learning experiences for the Air Force. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Operations Training Development (OTD) to support the development of over 1,400 AOC and AFFOR training lessons, ensuring alignment with Air Force Instructions (AFIs), Air Force Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), Air Combat Command (ACC), United States Air Force Warfare Center (USAFWC) directives, 505 CCW, and 705 TRS guidelines, as well as the Instructional System Development (ISD) process. This position is located at Hurlburt Field, FL.
