Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our Distribution Center (DC)? We are seeking a Senior Project Manager, Field Operations to embark on an exciting journey of growth and innovation.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be instrumental in welcoming and guiding new Distribution Center (DC) team members through their onboarding and training process. Your support will extend across all facets of our operations, fostering effective communication and structure among DC leadership and peers.
Your day to day will involve:
Review and analyze data, reports, and directives, collaborating closely with managers & supervisors to gather insights essential for strategic planning. Together, we'll navigate new commitments, track work progress, and tackle any challenges encountered with our Labor Market System
Take charge of various responsibilities tied to receiving, storing, shipping materials or finished goods
Ensure materials are received from proper vendors, delivered to inventory and finished goods, are available to meet production schedules, packaged according to specification, and shipped in a timely manner
Ensure the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control
Monitors and analyze costs and prepare budgets
Provide oversight / manage / lead business process integration, transition projects/activities
Lead and direct strategic project initiatives. These can be multi-year efforts and could involve system re-platform, business process re-design, and process transition / integration
Maintain project portfolio and pipeline of projects
Work collaboratively with all matrix organizations including the business and IT service departments
Influence and gain commitment for initiatives and recommendations from multiple stakeholders
Provide executive level presentation updates on initiatives
Change Management/Leadership experience (stakeholder analysis/impact/engagement, communication
Minimum Requirements:
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7 years of relevant experience
Critical Skills:
5 years in project management ideally supporting a distribution center (DC)
Intermediate to Advance MS Excel, SharePoint, Visio, Project, Blue Yonder
Ability to collaborate, influence, and gain commitment from multiple stakeholders
Strong facilitation and executive communication (written, verbal) skills
Proven ability to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines and documenting progress toward those deadlines
Preferred Experience:
PMP Certification is nice to have
Experience in industrial engineering
Experience with automation
Six Sigma Experience is nice to have
Teamwork/Interpersonal skills

This is a remote based position. The ideal candidate must live within proximity of a major airport.
This position requires approximately 70% travel. Travel will be based on the projects you are assigned to and will be nationwide.
