Position Summary :
The Custodial Assistants primary responsibility is to perform maintenance and custodial duties as requested by the Facilities Maintenance Manager, as well as ensure that the building is free of garbage and cardboard.
In addition, the Custodial Assistant performs housekeeping duties to ensure the building is clean and tidy.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities : (Additional duties may be assigned)
50% Perform general trash and cardboard collection.
10% Maintain order and cleanliness of the Aurora location.
15% Clean floors with the floor machine, as well as light equipment and material handling.
10% Dust collection system in Woodshop and empty Woodshop waste, as well as dust pipes.
5% Replenish water as necessary.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
This position does not have any supervisory duties.
Education and Experience :
High School Diploma required
Special Requirements :
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
