Position Summary: We are looking for a Sales Representative that has experience and ability to develop relationships and provide a consultative role. The ideal candidate will achieve maximum sales profitability and growth. Candidate will be able to provide self-generated leads as well as work Company provided leads.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Identifies prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and other prospecting behaviors.

· Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.

· Demonstrates knowledge on industry products and services to existing/potential customers and assists in selecting those best suited to their needs.

· Ability to negotiate terms and pricing while ensuring customer satisfaction.

· Conducts email, telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.

· Prepares sales contracts for orders obtained and submits orders for processing.

· Conducts follow-up customer visits to ensure that equipment is functioning properly and assists in customers’ employee training to operate and maintain new equipment when necessary.

· Establishes professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel. 

· Participates in company-sponsored weekly meetings to review sales performance, sales goals, and profitability.

· Maintains customer records using automated systems.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Solid organizational skills; able to multi-task and complete requests in a timely and professional manner.

· Resourceful; can devise creative solutions to problems.

· CRM experience and knowledge with systems similar to QuickBooks. 

· Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

· Ability to travel for local and regional customers. Possible overnight travel for networking and tradeshows will be required.

· Experience in construction, signage, or architectural material sales.

· Proven sales success of over 500K in annual business to business sales.

· Must possess superior problem solving, analytical, negotiation and communications skills.

· 2-5 years of Sales experience is preferred.
