Responsibilities include:

• Client/Contractor/Consultant relationship builder from presentation stage through construction administration
• Create/manage development of detailed construction documents and specifications
• Mentoring/junior staff to advance areas of strength and interest.

Beardsley’s Eastern New York office is looking for a creative, inspired, technically-focused Project Architect to lead our high-end residential team of three designers. This person will be entrusted with creative authorship and direct interaction with clients building one of a kind projects. Beardsley is an employee owned firm, one that serves its employees with a sense of purpose and teamwork. We hold ourselves accountable through firm-wide strategic initiatives focused on how we would like ourselves and our business to evolve. The Albany and Adirondack offices allow us to serve clients anywhere between the Hudson Valley to the High Peaks and Vermont, including waterfront, inter-generational retreats, in-town, and sustainable residential project types.

Qualifications include:

• 7-10 years’ experience
• Professional degree in Architecture from a US accredited school
• Recent experience managing and designing single family residential projects
• Understanding of custom residential construction materials, methods, and detailing
• High proficiency in REVIT BIM software
• Remote work may be accommodated within a 60%-40% split
• Self-motivated with the ability to problem solve
• Strong collaboration and team communication skills
