Salary Hiring Range: $60,996 - $65,004

Position is remote/hybrid, travel is required

Sandhills Center is a Local Management Entity-Managed Care Organization (LME-MCO) serving

people in eleven counties in central North Carolina. We have a robust network of providers who offer

treatment and support for mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and substance use

disorders.

Duties:

• Oversees the administration of the Sandhills Center Housing Program

• Supervises the efforts of Transition Housing staff and ensures that prompt, seamless care

coordination strategies are applied

• Monitor the TCL Care Manager follows policy and procedure in securing documents required

to maintain TCL tenancy, including annual inspections, biannual recertification, income

adjustments, and monthly housing checklist

• Ensure that requested housing inspections are completed and documented to the end that

Transitions to Community Living members transition to decent, safe, and sanitary housing

units

• Oversee the expansion of housing resources and opportunities in our service area.

• Inspects housing units for Housing Quality Standards (HQS) required by the state with

regards to occupancy for Transitions to Community Living members

• Schedules initial inspections in accordance with Transition to Community Living requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires a master’s degree in a human services field such as social work, counseling,

psychology, or related curriculum and one year experience in social work or counseling;

preferably with the client population.

• Bachelors’ degree in one of the fields listed above and two years of social work or counseling

experience; or graduation from a four-year college or university and four years’ experience in

counseling.

• Must reside in North Carolina
