POSITION: CUSTOMER SUPPORT MANAGER (Maintenance)

REPORTS TO: ASSISTANT PORTFOLIO MANAGER and/or PORTFOLIO MANAGER

SUMMARY:

Under the direction of your supervisor, this position is accountable for the coordinating of routine maintenance tasks in the portfolio by supervising a team of Customer Support Specialists whose job it is to provide excellent customer service to residents.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise a team of Customer Support Specialists responsible for the following:

• Processing incoming maintenance requests.
• Troubleshooting with tenants on various maintenance requests.
• Take tenant calls pertaining to maintenance.
• Maintain relationships with a number of third-party vendors.
• Prepare pre-scheduled work orders for the following day.
• Additional responsibilities may be added based on the applicant’s prior experience.
• Being actively involved in ensuring first-class property curb appeal.
• Adhere to the letter and spirit of Fair Housing laws.
• Complete assigned tasks and projects as directed by direct supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience working in a maintenance-related field preferred.
• Prior experience working in an office environment.
• Advanced computer skills (Outlook, Entrata, Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel.)
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a background and drug test, (cannabis excluded.)
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College experience preferred, but not required.

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
