Customer Retention Manager manages all customer retention activities. Takes initiatives in customer satisfaction via process improvement plans and efficient reporting and flow of information. Being a Customer Retention Manager maintains industry relationships and develops budgets and controls costs. Responsible for leading a team of retention members. Additionally, Customer Retention Manager requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Customer Retention Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Customer Retention Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Customer Success and Retention Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to engage with existing website clients, address their inquiries, assist with basic website updates, and implement strategies to enhance customer retention and satisfaction.     What You’ll Do:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing website clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally via email, phone, or video call.
    • Assist clients with basic website updates, such as content edits, image uploads, and minor design modifications, using Wordpress.
    • Proactively reach out to clients to gather feedback on their experience with our services, identify areas for improvement, and ensure their ongoing satisfaction.
    • Develop and implement proactive retention strategies to minimize customer churn and increase client loyalty.
    • Examine customer usage data and behavior to identify patterns and opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.
    • Keep accurate records of client interactions, inquiries, and resolutions. 
    • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to support customer engagement initiatives, such as client newsletters, webinars, or customer appreciation events.

     

    What You Bring to the Team:

    • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in customer success, account management, or client services.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Familiarity with website development, content management systems (CMS), and Wordpress is a plus, but not mandatory.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
    • Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot).
