Customer Retention Manager manages all customer retention activities. Takes initiatives in customer satisfaction via process improvement plans and efficient reporting and flow of information. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Customer Retention Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Reach out to former and current customers via phone, email and chat to set up their deliveries of fresh organic produce and artisan grocery
    • Educate customers about the service and how to use our website and app
    • Achieve monthly quotas and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
    • Make outbound calls to close outside sales and social media leads
    • Communicate through phone, chats and emails professionally and in accordance with the company policies and brand guidelines
    • Maintain a calm, pleasant demeanor and work effectively with others
    • Receive and correctly process orders to initiate, discontinue, reactivate, or change service
    • Full-time, predictable attendance in our West Sacramento office is required
    • Other duties as assigned

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Experience interacting directly with customers or members of the public in a helpful manner
    • Must be comfortable working with a team in a sales and customer service environment
    • Intelligence, character, integrity, coachability and willingness to learn and accept feedback
    • Empathy, written and verbal communication skills, accuracy and thoroughness
    • Solid computer skills and familiarity with MS Office, Outlook, database systems
    • High school diploma or equivalent

    ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience in Food and Agriculture, Health, Wellness, or Nutrition
    • Passion for gardening and cooking, the environment, sustainability, the farm-to-fork movement
    • Bilingual – Spanish and English
