Customer Engineering Services, LLC (CES) is a provider of Technical Services. We provide product installation, preventative maintenance, on-site repairs, and helpdesk services for clients with inventory throughout the U.S. We currently have a career opportunity for a Quality Service Technician in the Kansas City, MO market.
The Quality Service Technician (QST) is a field service position that is critical to our business. They provide on-site technical assistance in the preventive maintenance and operation of One Hour Photo Mini-Labs throughout a geographical territory. We count on our team to provide quality services to all CES customers.

You will have the opportunity to join a team of service representatives who provide best in class levels of customer service by:
Work closely with and develop strong business relationships with the customer and photo lab personnel
Follow accepted maintenance procedures to resolve existing equipment problems
Perform preventive maintenance in a timely manner
Analyze and evaluate equipment performance
Install required modifications and engineering changes to ensure that the equipment is within specifications and to maximize customer productivity
Conduct informal operator training as needed to improve machine performance
Complete all required reporting procedures related to the maintenance and repair of the equipment
Maintaining a professional appearance based on Company policy
Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (formal training/technical school courses a plus)
Electro-Mechanical/Technical diagnostic abilities and the knowledge and use of hand tools.
Photo processing, Printer or Copier maintenance experience is a plus
Out-going personality; have the ability to engage the store management personnel
Demonstrate good technical aptitude
Strong oral and written communications
Self starter, ability to manage time and territory efficiently
Organizational skill with the ability to work independently
Neat and business-like appearance
Satisfactory driving record. Motor Vehicle report will be reviewed
Travel
Candidate must be willing to travel throughout a large geographical territory to conduct Quality Service visits in their assigned stores, sometimes including overnight stays in hotels.
