    At the Violations Bureau you will assist customers with processing citations filed throughout Palm Beach County. In this role you will have the opportunity to gain knowledge on traffic citations, reinstating driver’s licenses, misdemeanors cases, county ordinances, and much more!

    This position is eligible for a one dollar per hour stipend which has already been added to the salary advertised. The one dollar per hour stipend will be awarded upon completion of the introductory period. The stipend will no longer apply should the employee transfer out of this position.

    • Performs as a Court Compliance Ambassador by assisting customers in the Payment Plan Office
    • Assists Court Specialist Lead and management team with quality control overall departmental efficiency and procedural development as needed
    • Cashiers payments on criminal traffic and ordinance violations; reinstates driver's licenses
    • Scans and updates over-the-counter citations
    • Sets court hearings
    • Provides statistical reports; runs collections process and payoff requests; performs other customer service related functions
    High school diploma (or GED) supplemented by five (5) years of recent and relevant experience that demonstrates the ability to accurately apply acute attention to detail in maintenance of detailed data preferably in an automated systems environment; or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
     
    Some vocational or college courses preferred.
