Customer Service Desk Clerk - Grocery Store jobs in Santa Maria, CA

We are seeking an outgoing, organized, and driven professional who is responsible for providing outstanding customer service by leading and motivating their team and providing top-notch service to our customers over the phone, in person, and using written communications. In this role, you will interact directly with our customers to answer questions, place orders, solve problems, provide education, and maintain our company’s reputation for high-quality service. You will assist our Sales Manager.

As a Customer Service Clerk for Cattaneo Bros. you are responsible for:

• Working with customers in our retail location, online, and phone calls to purchase goods
• Greeting and assisting customers throughout the store & checkout
• Assisting customers on the phone and via emails
• Stocking, rotating and merchandising inventory & in-store displays
• Thorough understanding of company, brand & vision
• Thorough understanding of all products & product lines
• Handling money & checkout for customers orders
• Manage opening & closing procedures and key & alarm codes
• Taking calls, answering questions, and resolving any challenges customers may have
• Packing online and wholesale orders
• Attending events to represent the Cattaneo Bros. brand ( optional)

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Ability problem solve on-the-job
• Experience in fielding incoming and outgoing customer service calls
• Experience in sales and upselling skills are a plus

• Friday
• Saturday
• Sunday (some during December)

Typical end time:

• 5PM

Typical start time:

• 9AM

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
