Customer Service Desk Clerk - Grocery Store jobs in Syracuse, NY

The Bay Big M, a family owned and operated grocery store located in Alexandria Bay, New York, is looking to expand its team by hiring a Full Time Cutter for our Meat Department. Qualified candidates should be organized and efficient workers and should be equipped with in-depth knowledge of both meat preparation techniques and up-to-date food safety standards. A minimum of one years’ experience as a Meat Cutter is preferred. Compensation will be determined based on previous experience.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Cut, trim, and prepare meats for retail to customers

Communicate with customers to receive and fulfill custom orders

Maintain a clean preparation room in accordance with the standards set by Agriculture and Markets as well as management

Work alongside teammates and department head to deliver a high level of customer service

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
