Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Store Clerk to join our Civil War Reenacting Store & Ice Cream Parlor.

As a Store Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the store. and ice cream parlor. Knowledge of Civil War Clothing and accouterments is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product information and answer customer inquiries
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock items
- Assist with pricing and labeling merchandise
- Follow company policies and procedures for opening and closing the store
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets

- run the ice cream parlor scooping ice cream, working cash register, maintaining it

Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred
- Strong technical sales skills with the ability to promote products effectively
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and operating a cash register
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly store layout
- Basic knowledge of phone etiquette for answering customer inquiries
