Customer Service Director directs and oversees all aspects of an organization's customer service policies, objectives, and initiatives. Develops service level standards focused on reducing response times and providing high customer satisfaction. Being a Customer Service Director establishes policies and procedures that produce high quality customer service delivery and that reflect industry best practices. Implements systems to capture and report on service metrics, including any customer feedback or trends in product or service issues. Additionally, Customer Service Director manages resource decision-making and planning. Aligns customer service activities and initiatives to support and enhance the objectives of the organization. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Customer Service Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Customer Service Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Primary Responsibilities

    The Major Gifts Director (MGD) supports the mission of Saint Francis Service Dogs and is responsible for securing both individual and institutional funds. The MGD fosters a culture of philanthropy, provides an active voice in the organization’s strategic decision-making, and helps design and implement communications, systems, and protocols to ensure aggressive annual revenue growth.

    The MGD communicates Saint Francis Service Dogs’ vision to potential funders and donors and builds strong relationships with stakeholders. The MGD oversees fund development of major gifts, planned giving, annual and capital campaigns, corporate partnerships, and foundations to ensure fund growth and stability.

    Education: Bachelor’s degree

    Experience:

    · Minimum of five years successful nonprofit fundraising experience.

    · A proven individual track record of securing major, capital, and planned gifts as a result of cultivating top-tier, executive level donors, corporate leaders, foundations, grantors, and individual donors

    · Knowledge of IRS charitable giving and fundraising regulations

    · Ability to secure gifts in the six-figure range and maintain a portfolio of donors with major giving capacity

    · Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with internal and external audiences

    · Dedication to helping people with disabilities and possessing a general love and compassion for dogs
