Customer Service Supervisor supervises a staff of customer service representatives that respond to requests from customers by phone, e-mail, or chat. Manages the daily workload to ensure required service volume and quality levels are attained. Being a Customer Service Supervisor trains and coaches staff in standard policies, procedures, and best practices. Identifies opportunities for operational improvements and implements solutions. Additionally, Customer Service Supervisor monitors and evaluate staff performance. Responds to escalated issues to facilitate solutions. May provide direct customer support for complicated or critical issues. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Customer Service Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Customer Service Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling order processing tasks, providing an exceptional service to our customers, and seamlessly collaborating with colleagues and vendors.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Ensure adherence to OTIF (On Time In Full) targets, compliance with certified quality management systems, and strive to meet company KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
    • Utilize organizational skills to prioritize and manage incoming orders effectively.
    • Monitor order progress and provide regular reports to management on order status, as well as highlighting potential issues immediately upon discovery.
    • Create purchase orders and repairs orders, then coordinate with vendors to expedite and ensure timely delivery of goods to us.
    • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email, phone, and in person, providing updates on order status and addressing any concerns.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery.
    • Maintain accurate records of orders, customer interactions, and vendor communications.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
    • Provide support to finance department including taking credit card payments and issuing checks.
    • Develop and maintain good relationships with key customer accounts and vendors, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
    • Manage the organization and accuracy of files stored in Microsoft Teams, implementing efficient filing systems, and collaborating with team members to uphold standardized naming conventions and file management practices.

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience in order processing and customer service, preferably within the aviation industry (military or commercial sectors).
    • Proficiency in computer systems and software, including MS Office 365 and Quantum ERP.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficient time management to meet deadlines.
    • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
    • Highly adaptable, with the ability to change tasks quickly as business needs dictate.
    • Driving license required, with ability to reliably commute.
    • References will be requested.

    Benefits:

    • Hourly rate of pay between $18 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.
