Customer Service Supervisor supervises a staff of customer service representatives that respond to requests from customers by phone, e-mail, or chat. Manages the daily workload to ensure required service volume and quality levels are attained. Being a Customer Service Supervisor trains and coaches staff in standard policies, procedures, and best practices. Identifies opportunities for operational improvements and implements solutions. Additionally, Customer Service Supervisor monitors and evaluate staff performance. Responds to escalated issues to facilitate solutions. May provide direct customer support for complicated or critical issues. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Customer Service Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Customer Service Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Supervisor Description : Job Description Overview Provides quality service by organizing and monitoring work flow, assisting managers with daily operational tasks, and aids in facilitating daily and weekly reports.

    Responsibilities

    Oversees the teams and workflow.

    Ensures that all team members are informed of any operation changes and assists with the execution of training.

    Monitors floor and keeps operation managers and leads updated on daily workflow of team.

    Aids with the completion of daily and weekly managerial reporting : ie; phone stats, adherence and FTE.

    Conducts regular monthly meetings with the teams

    Monitors new hire on-boarding and competency training and ensures completion Conducts 90 day and annual reviews for team members Other Duties and Responsibilities : as assigned by department managers and director.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma.

    3-5 years related experience in Specialty Pharmacy setting.

    Extensive knowledge of private insurance and Medicare / Medicaid billing and adjudication process.

    Ability to work with Excel and analyze data. Preferred Qualifications : (if above and beyond the minimum required)

    Associates degree Prior supervisory experience a plus.
