Customer Service Team Leader leads a customer service team that responds to phone, e-mail, or chat non-technical service requests from customers. Responds to and resolves escalated issues and/or unique or complex requests from customers. Being a Customer Service Team Leader monitors the daily workloads of team members and makes adjustments to ensure adequate coverage and that correct procedures are followed. Identifies system and workflow improvements to enhance the team's efficiency. Additionally, Customer Service Team Leader trains and provides support to less experienced team members. May assist manager or supervisor with scheduling. May be authorized to approve special adjustments or exceptions for a customer. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor.     Job Summary:

    The Crew Leader facilitates the efficient operation of the worksite by performing a variety of tasks.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Lead crew
    • Show up 15 minutes before start time to ensure equipment is ready and work orders are understood
    • Effectively run a crew of 3 to 4 employees with the set jobs scheduled for that day
    • Identify any tree/shrub on the worksite that is quoted to be pruned or removed
    • Fully understand how trees/shrubs function and the biology behind them
    • Start getting ready for certified arborist exam. If ready, take the exam
    • Give direct orders to your crew so worksite is safe and efficient
    • Can problem solve any issues that may arise at the jobsite
    • Able to communicate with customer and fully explain what is going to be done and why
    • Read directions thoroughly and u understand each work order to the fullest
    • Can teach techniques and skills to other up and coming crew leaders/new employees
    • Properly fill out paperwork at the end of every job
    • Calling and communicate to all customers and follow-up.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Excellent communication skills including active listening
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Knowledge of, or ability to learn, product, service, or area of customer service specialization

    Education and Experience:

    • Minimum: 18 years or older (OSHA requirement) and High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Preferred: prior work experience in setting
    • Required: prior tree experience

    Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

    • Working environment: Outside
    • Exposures encountered: Low to loud noise, sometimes repetitive or constant
    • Prolonged periods of: bending, squatting, climbing, walking
    • Physical effort: lifting up to 55 pounds

    Hours and Status:

    Full Time Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with the possibility of being part-time during the company’s winter season (typically October – February)
