Customer Service Team Leader leads a customer service team that responds to phone, e-mail, or chat non-technical service requests from customers. Responds to and resolves escalated issues and/or unique or complex requests from customers. Being a Customer Service Team Leader monitors the daily workloads of team members and makes adjustments to ensure adequate coverage and that correct procedures are followed. Identifies system and workflow improvements to enhance the team's efficiency. Additionally, Customer Service Team Leader trains and provides support to less experienced team members. May assist manager or supervisor with scheduling. May be authorized to approve special adjustments or exceptions for a customer. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor.     Schedule

    • Thursday and Friday from 7am-5:30pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8am-6:30pm.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide industrial cleaning and labor training and coaching for 5-10 team members;
    • Provide paint booth and janitorial cleaning services with the team via water blasting - remove paint build up, dirt, debris, and other material;
    • Utilize hand tools and equipment to perform maintenance cleaning functions in paint booths for robotic machinery;
    • Perform physically repetitive cleaning tasks such as scrubbing, bending, pushing and pulling, prolonged standing and walking;
    • Work in confined spaces and perform heavy lifting functions up to 50lbs in paint booth cleaning operations;
    • Occasionally work from ladders (10 ft.) to provide hand-tool cleaning on machinery and equipment;
    • Wear and ensure all members are properly equipped with PPE including safety shoes/boots, paint suits, protective headgear, facewear, and gloves;
    • Follow and encourage all company and customer safety policies, practices, protocols, and procedures;
    • Routinely inspect and report any quality concerns to the supervisor;
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 2 years of experience as a team leader in a cleaning or heavy industrial environment;
    • Experience leading a minimum of 5 team members;
    • Industrial cleaning experience within the automotive industry is considered an asset;
    • Minimum high school level education;
    • Must meet all health and safety requirements, including knowledge of health and safety standards and procedures;
    • Possess a valid driver's license;
    • Willing and able to work the designated shift including weekends and overtime;
    • Ability to reliably commute to Montgomery, AL for work.
