Customer Service Training Manager designs and delivers training programs for customer service representatives, team leaders, and supervisors. Prepares instructive updates and details on new products, features, and service offerings. Being a Customer Service Training Manager designs a training curriculum and role-playing exercises to develop selling, service delivery, issue resolution, and interpersonal communication skills. Creates and maintains documentation and resources used to instruct staff on service level standards, system tools, and policies and procedures. Additionally, Customer Service Training Manager assesses training effectiveness and defines future needs by reviewing and analyzing staff performance metrics. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Customer Service Training Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Customer Service Training Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job responsibilities: The Food Service Manager is responsible for the management of food services, which includes the cafeteria and special food services. 

    Essential functions:

    1. Plan, coordinate and supervise the administrative and food service activities of the department. 
    2. Provide staff training, evaluate staff performance, and recommend and implement department and personnel changes as approved by the deputy warden and coordinated with the manager, human resources prior to implementation. 
    3. Assist the finance manager in the preparation of the departmental budget; monitor and control all expenditures pertaining to the food service operations. 
    4. Assist in the development and implementation of new and revised policies and procedures affecting food services. 
    5. Provide appetizing, nutritious and realistically proportioned meals in a clean, comfortable environment. 
    6. Ensure quality of production and food purchase requirements. Maintain cost control to stay within budget limitation. Establish quantity of food to be prepared according to the menu and planned number of meals to be served.

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • High school diploma or GED 
    • Technical training in food service operations
    • Four years of experience in food service operations, three of which must be in a supervisory capacity are required.
    • Knowledge of nutrition and methods of food cost effectiveness desired. Experience in correctional institution food services preferred.
    • Valid food handler’s permit required, if required by the state of Texas
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Valid driver’s license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
