    Job Description

    Tranco Global is seeking an out-going, intelligent, energetic individual to fulfill the role of Customs Entry Writer in our Chattanooga branch office.   The individual will manage the import process to ensure timely customs entry and compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. The successful candidate must have strong organizational skills.  This requires the ability to work at a fast pace while paying attention to detail.  This represents an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious team player looking to flourish with a rapidly growing organization.

    Job Duties

    1.   Prepares all necessary data entry and confirmation of key shipment milestones
    2.   Prepare customs entry
    3.   Maintains key commercial and transportation data
    4.   Ensure compliance with government regulatory agencies
    5.   Timely data entry and distribution
    6.   Ability to interpret and apply customs regulations
    7.   Prepare information and reports in a timely manner
    8.   Support cross-departmental functions in a team environment
     
    Job Requirements
    1.   Minimum 1 (one) year of transportation and logistics experience
    2.   Knowledge regarding import entry procedures, compliance, rules, and regulations
    3.   Knowledge of Importer Security Filing (ISF)
    3.   Excellent organizational skills
    4.   Microsoft Office computer skills
    5.   Excellent written and verbal skills
    6.   Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines
    7.   Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently
    8.   CargoWise experience a plus
