OVERVIEW:
Import Customs Compliance Analyst II is responsible for operational performance of the DSG Customs Broker, entry audit, and running the day-to-day operations of the Foreign Trade Zone, and . The associate will provide support to the customs compliance team to perform daily operational tasks and conduct audits. The associate will present statistical trends and collaborate in identifying the strategic direction of future customs compliance program participation to support future business growth. The Customs Compliance Analyst II will need to have the ability to provide education and training related to trade topics.
Job Duties and Responsibilties:
Administer Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operational performance and partner with softwares provider to implement necessary systemic changes to support automated data flow.
Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly activities and processes required to administer a compliant and efficient FTZ.
Ensure performance of FTZ software provider
Provide oversight of customs broker
Complete monthly reporting of duty and customs entry volumes, costs, and performance for strategic planning, forecasting and reporting.
Maintain and develop SOPS related to FTZ and broker management as required
Maintain brokerage operating procedures
Ensure service level agreements are being met by brokerage via reporting and quarterly business reviews
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree-Business administration or equivalent
5 - 7 Years Trade compliance, international trade laws, First Sale, Importer Self-Assessment
Customs Brokerage License
Preferred Certified Customs Specialist
Preferred Classification Specialist
GT Nexus/Trade Card
