Responsibilities:

• Preparation, transmission and management of the Customs Border Protection (CBP) entry, as required by law for all inbound cargoes to the United States
• Prepare, audit and transmission of customs entries in a compliant and timely manner
• Prepare, post and issuance of Terra invoice for CHB only services
• Document preparation and dispatch to designated internal and client stakeholders
• Upload and manage transactional files consistent with record-keeping guidelines
• Monitor and sustain all shipment and client designated databases
• Ensures all government required documentation and related information is compliant
• Accurate and timely completion of pre or post entry requirements from inception to delivery
• Works with clients, CBP and other inbound supply chain stakeholders to resolve issues as they pertain to entries
• Makes corrections and updates to entries, as necessary and approved
• Adherence to governmental, client-centric and Terra trade compliance policies, procedures, importing guidelines or requirements, along with internal controls designed to ensure compliance with all regulations
• Understand import process flow, procedures and responsibilities constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency
• Collaborate with the CHB team to meet corporate / client import KPI's performance and accuracy thresholds
• Remains informed of relevant import customs procedural or regulatory changes
• Performs all other tasks as assigned by supervisor and/or manager
