Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Farm Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for agriculture, gardening, and animal care. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic farm environment and contribute to the daily operations.

Duties:

- Mechanical knowledge/some Mechanical truck and tractor work will be valued
- Feed, watering and caring for animals including horses

- Mucking stalls

- Painting
- Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of farm areas, including mowing lawns, brush clearing
- Assist with planting, weeding, watering, harvesting

Requirements:
- Experience or interest in gardening, growing, and animal care

-Experience painting interior and exterior of house/barns
- Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment
- Ability to follow directions and work with a positive attitude

This position offers the opportunity to work in a rewarding and beautiful setting doing hands on work in exchange for living arrangements. This includes a nice one bedroom apartment on the farm with a kitchenette, and bath/shower. Work would be exchanged for living in the apartment. Approximately 2 hours per day on weekdays and 3 hours per day weekends for a total of 15-18 hours per week total in exchange for apartment. Some flexibility for the ideal person.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.03 - $21.71 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 18 per week
