```Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Hand to join our Dressage Barn. As a Farm Hand, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to farm operations and handling of horses. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. (barn loft apartment available for the right person)

Duties:

- Operate and maintain hand tools and equipment used in farming activities

- Perform general maintenance tasks such as repairing fences

- Feed and care for and handle horses

- Clean and maintain animal housing areas

- Operate heavy equipment such as tractors

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:

- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues

- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measuring feed quantities and mixing ratios

- Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred but not required

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks

- Knowledge of animal handling and husbandry practices is a plus

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new farming techniques and technologies

Please note that this position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential.
