Job Duties (to include, but not limited to the following):
Racking, Filtering and Botteling of Wine
Proactively seek continuous improvement opportunities including process improvements and cost saving opportunities.
Cleaning equipment, pumps, hoses, storage tanks, vessels and floors.
Vineyard maintenance including- Pruning, tying, weed control, cover cropping, canopy maintenance, and harvest.
Maintain a high standard of care and cleanliness of all tools, equipment, and facilities.
Ensure all work activities meet relevant safety standards to prevent accidents or injuries.
Work alongside our winemaker on Harvest, Fermentation, Tank Management, and Bottleing of all products.
Delivery of products and movement of products from production lines into storage and shipping areas
Required Skills:
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Flexible hours and the ability to respond to emails, phone calls, and text messages outside of normal office hours.
The ability to be on one’s feet for extended periods of time- Sometimes 12 hour work days
The ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Strong technical skills to provide a working knowledge of the safety standards, upgrading, and maintenance of wine equipment.
Experience operating tractors and forklift equipment.
General knowledge of and hands-on experience with commercial beverage production.
