Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Ranch Hand. As a Ranch Hand, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations and maintenance of multiple properties. This is a physically demanding role that requires experience in animal care and handling, as well as running small machinery, and attention to detail.

Duties:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ranch facilities and equipment

- Operate and maintain hand tools and equipment used for various ranching tasks

- Assist with irrigation systems and landscape maintenance

- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as needed for ranch maintenance projects

- Assist with the maintenance of fences, gates, and other structures

- Support in the handling and transportation of livestock as required

- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment when necessary

- Assist with feeding, watering, and general care of livestock, including equine animals

- Perform basic animal husbandry tasks

Experience:

- Previous experience working on a ranch or in a similar agricultural setting is preferred

- Familiarity with operating hand tools and equipment used in ranching activities

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor on a regular basis

- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance is an asset

- Knowledge of animal care practices, including equine animals prefered but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
