The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing ultrasound examinations and identifying and communicating clinical findings to radiologists.
High School diploma or equivalent required. College coursework guided towards ARDMS Board certification and prior hands-on clinical ultrasound experience in a hospital setting preferred. American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography ARDMS Board certification required. ARRT (R) and Vermont State Radiologic Technician license is a plus. Current health care provider BLS certification within 90 days of hire required.
