Join our Valley View Hospital IT department as a full-time Data Architect!

As the Data Architect, you will be responsible for:

• developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive data strategy to maximize the use and availability of all data sources to meet the clinical, business, and financial needs of the organization. 
• Participate in the design, creation, verification, and delivery of reporting solutions to meet the clinical, business and financial needs of the organization.
• ensuring the design and development of reporting solutions is consistent with planned data configuration and use by continually building upon sound structural data plans.
• Participates the development of key data infrastructure and/or architectural components, processes and tools used by the organization. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Education:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, or other quantitative field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

• At least (5) years' experience in a complex business and information systems environment, preferably in healthcare or finance

Skills:

• Knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Internet software; Project Management software and Database software.
• Proficient understanding of Structured Query Language.
• Proficient understanding of a variety of reporting Technologies (Excel, SQL, SSRS, Tableau, etc.)
• High level of initiative and self-motivation.
• Report or visualization development experience using software such as SSRS, Tableau, etc.

• Acumen of integration and reporting technologies and industry trends (i.e. clinical care, finance, human capital)
• Strong knowledge and ability to lead project/program planning and management best practices.
• Familiarity with a wide variety of domain-related information technology solutions covering application, infrastructure and operations architecture. 
• Exceptional oral/written communication and presentation abilities to users.

Preferred: Meditech 6x, Revenue Cycle knowledge

SALARY RANGE

• ‎$36.76 to $54.06/hour 
• Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
