Data Architect designs and builds databases for data storage or processing. Develops strategies for warehouse implementation, data acquisition and access, and data archiving and recovery. Being a Data Architect builds data models and defines the structure, attributes and nomenclature of data elements. May evaluate new data sources for adherence to the organization's quality standards and ease of integration. Additionally, Data Architect requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Data Architect work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. - Collects and collates data related to clinical quality, operational processes, patient satisfaction, and other areas as assigned
- Assists with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual P.I. reports
- Maintains clinical outcome data as assigned
- Maintains clinical process data as assigned
- Develops spreadsheets and databases necessary for data maintenance
