• Translate business strategy and requirements into technology solutions that drive business outcomes
  
• Provide architectural leadership on strategic initiatives, serving as a trusted advisor to business, technology, data, and analytics teams.
  
• Guide data solutions through the architecture review process in partnership with other Solution Architects. Create and present diagrams and other architecture artifacts to enterprise architects to promote common understanding and optimize decisions.
  
• Provide data direction to application development teams to streamline decisions and ensure alignment with our reference architecture
  
• Evaluate planned and in-flight projects to identify impacts to the current state architecture
  
• Analyze the application portfolio and share with leadership recommendations for improving business and technical health, to increase resiliency, scalability, risk profile, and effectiveness
  
• Communicate and champion the enterprise data architecture direction to each business unit the assigned market organization
  
• Identify opportunities for shared solutions and leverage shared solutions in architecture solutions, to increase efficiency and minimize enterprise redundancy
  
• Collaborate with Architects to evolve data architecture principles, policies, and best practices building out architecture solutions that further both our operational and analytical needs.
  
• Research Technologies, Review Existing tools, Provide recommendations for specific business cases
  
• Help create data strategy while opportunistically leading the implementation of that strategy through projects.
  

• Understanding of common data architecture and data integration patterns, with an ability to apply them to solve business problems
  
• Demonstrated success translating business requirements and desired capabilities into technical solutions
  
• Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships with and influence business and technical stakeholders
  
• Understanding of common architecture and systems integration patterns, with an ability to apply them to solve business problems
  
• At least seven years of experience in information technology, including at least two years in an architecture role
  
• Experience with database deployments in both cloud native environment and on-prem environments
  
• Expert logical analysis, problem solving, and conceptualization skills
  
• Strong technical aptitude, curiosity for applying innovative technology, and the ability to quickly develop an understanding of new concepts and subjects
  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to effectively deliver messages at the appropriate level of detail to different audiences
  
• General knowledge across the architectural domains of business, application, data, technology, and security
  
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field of study
  

• Experience with Snowflake and AWS RDS platforms will be an added advantage
  
• SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB
  
• Database, Schema, Table design for relational and non-relational
  
• ETL/ELT tools, specifically StreamSets and Informatica Power Center
  
• Knowledge of cloud-native architecture best practices
  
• Design and development of applications for AWS
  
• Experience working with agile methodologies, practices, and teams
  
• Financial Services industry experience
  
• 2 years' experience in working with Commercial off the shelf (COTS) including customization, configuration of platform & integrating with other applications
  

• Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse and computer for up to 8 hours per day
  
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week
  
• Ability to utilize phone and/or virtual meeting platform for 2-4 hours per day
  
• Ability to perform grasping tasks 2-4 hours per day
