Data Architect designs and builds databases for data storage or processing. Develops strategies for warehouse implementation, data acquisition and access, and data archiving and recovery. Being a Data Architect builds data models and defines the structure, attributes and nomenclature of data elements. May evaluate new data sources for adherence to the organization's quality standards and ease of integration. Additionally, Data Architect requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Data Architect work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Qualified candidates will have similar experience to the following:
- Experience delivering enterprise class web applications, with experience in the following (or similar) technologies:
- C#,
- .NET
- SQL
- Blazor
- Azure, AWS, GCP or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- JavaScript (Angular, React, Node, etc)
- Experience with performance analysis and optimization of web services and software
- Advanced understanding of object-oriented design and SOLID development principles
- Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (table design, complex query creation, best practices)
- Understanding of best practices and methods to continuously integrate and deploy applications, architect micro-service solutions, and develop APIs for internal and external use
- Experience mentoring others and/or leading a significant change within a team
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
