Data Center Director directs and optimizes all operations of a data center facility to ensure data performance, availability, and security. Designs operating procedures and policies for installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, networks, and storage systems within a data center to maximize operational efficiency. JOB SUMMARY: The Early Childhood Center Coordinator is a supervisory position responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the early childhood center located at Program Warm.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Acts as the intermediary for SMA Healthcare in relation to child enrollments and manages all communication pertaining to enrolled children.
· Works with VP-Education to screen, interview and hire new employees. Participates in the progressive disciplinary process of subordinates as needed, guided by the VP-Education and HR Director.
· Provides new instructional staff with training on policies, procedures, curriculum, assessment, screenings, and classroom practices.
· Ensures effective supervision and oversight of the tasks performed by center-assigned staff members.
· Accountable for the day-to-day management of center operations, encompassing tasks such as staff scheduling, monitoring children's attendance, ensuring the successful execution of developmentally appropriate lesson plans, and maintaining optimal staff-to-child ratios.
· Assists teachers with room arrangement and classroom schedule to meet the needs of the children in the classroom and adhere to expectations of the currently adopted curriculum.
· Ensures classrooms are operating in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and are aligned with state early learning standards and other curricula adopted by Easterseals.
· Assists with routine classroom duties and provides coverage in classrooms including lunch breaks, if necessary.
· Conducts periodic observations on all teachers and meets with teachers to provide feedback related to lesson plans, instructional techniques and classroom management.
· Provides technical assistance and clear communication to education staff on a regular basis regarding agency updates, policies, work performance and professional development.
· Maintains accurate child enrollment records to ensure compliance, including the verification of immunization and physical records, as well as other necessary documentation.
· Maintains accurate staff files for compliance, updating annual forms as necessary.
· Documents all drills, inspections, audit and oversight activities to ensure Easterseals’ Early Childhood Education department meets and/or complies with these requirements.
· Ensures program supplies are replenished in a timely manner by submitting proper requests.
· Submits work orders as necessary to ensure facility is well maintained.
· Collaborates in the development of an annual budget for the center and ensures adherence to it.
· Works in collaboration with VP-Education to prepare reports as necessary to assure compliance with National Easterseals and all other agencies, and as requested by the President/CEO and Board of Directors, i.e. employee performance appraisals, budget reports, program statistics, and program evaluation information.
· Assists in formulating, documenting, and executing short and long-term goals to align with both departmental objectives and the overarching strategic plans of Easterseals.
· Preserves the integrity and confidentiality of protected health information of Easter Seals clients.
· Understands, acknowledges, and implements Easterseals privacy policies involving the disclosure of protected health information of Easterseals clients.
· Demonstrates a strong commitment to self-development.
· Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment.
· Completes all assignments and responsibilities, is flexible and a team player.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· CDA/Staff Credential required, Associate or Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development or closely related field preferred.
· Valid Florida Child Care Director’s Credential required at time of hire or obtain within 6 months of hire.
· Minimum of 2 years’ early education teaching experience
· Previous supervisory experience preferred.
