Data Center Director directs and optimizes all operations of a data center facility to ensure data performance, availability, and security. Designs operating procedures and policies for installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, networks, and storage systems within a data center to maximize operational efficiency. Being a Data Center Director monitors environmental conditions to ensure optimal temperature, humidity, and power supply to prevent downtime and protect hardware from damage. Ensures timely, accurate, and consistent technical infrastructure service and presentation to internal and external clients. Additionally, Data Center Director coordinates with outside teams to identify and implement new systems to support existing and future business needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Data Center Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Data Center Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. As the director of an Ivy Kids School, you will be a proactive and passionate individual with the ability to take ownership and accountability of the overall performance of the school. You will implement Ivy Kids proprietary curriculum and program, allowing you to focus on managing the center and building strong relationships with staff and families.

    Responsibilities:

    - Carry out policies and procedures, maintain budgets, and perform all tasks required to stay in compliance with Texas Licensing regulations.

    - Manage recruitment, staffing, and scheduling.

    - Utilize your extensive knowledge and experience in budgeting, marketing, and increasing enrollment.

    - Provide great communication and leadership skills to work with owners, staff, and families.

    Qualifications:

    - 5 years experience as a Center Director at a school with 200 children.

    - Passions for Early Childhood Development and prioritizes children first.

    - Desire to work in a high-quality, high performing environment.

    - Great technology skills with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and Social Media.

    - Deep knowledge of Texas Child Care minimum standards.

    - A personable demeanor and an ability to give great tours and forge deep community relationships.

    - Strong background in Early Childhood Development, an advanced degree in education, a CDA, or multiple years of teaching experience.

    - Experience of successfully opening a new center is an added advantage.
