Data Center Director directs and optimizes all operations of a data center facility to ensure data performance, availability, and security. Designs operating procedures and policies for installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, networks, and storage systems within a data center to maximize operational efficiency. Being a Data Center Director monitors environmental conditions to ensure optimal temperature, humidity, and power supply to prevent downtime and protect hardware from damage. Ensures timely, accurate, and consistent technical infrastructure service and presentation to internal and external clients. Additionally, Data Center Director coordinates with outside teams to identify and implement new systems to support existing and future business needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Data Center Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Data Center Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. HOURS: Full-time, primarily Monday through Friday day hours – may include weekends and evenings as needed. On-call required.

RESPONSIBILITIES: A qualified applicant will assist in developing and maintaining the overall programs to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for youth ages 10-17 in the New Beginnings Center Program. This role will provide direct supervision, ongoing evaluation, and training to staff. As well as, recruiting, hiring, initial orientation/training, and scheduling for staffing. Must possess proven leadership and communication skills and have strong organizational skills. Applicant must be a critical thinker, be able to think independently and problem-solve day-to-day situations. Must be able to perform all duties as listed in the Associate Director Job description and task list.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree and two (2) year’s experience in a related field and supervision in a Clinical environment; or a Bachelor’s Degree and four (4) year’s experience in a related field and supervision, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be 21 years of age. Must successfully complete all agency background checks. Requires valid driver’s license and ability to obtain approved driver status.
