Data Center Director directs and optimizes all operations of a data center facility to ensure data performance, availability, and security. Designs operating procedures and policies for installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, networks, and storage systems within a data center to maximize operational efficiency. Being a Data Center Director monitors environmental conditions to ensure optimal temperature, humidity, and power supply to prevent downtime and protect hardware from damage. Ensures timely, accurate, and consistent technical infrastructure service and presentation to internal and external clients. Additionally, Data Center Director coordinates with outside teams to identify and implement new systems to support existing and future business needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Data Center Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Center Director: Mathnasium Pleasant Grove
Mathnasium is a math-only supplementary learning center that teaches kids math in a way that makes sense. Using the proprietary Mathnasium Method with individual curriculum and specific teaching constructs, we offer customized learning plans to help students whether they are far behind or already ahead in math. Mathnasium in Pleasant Grove is currently seeking a Center Director to oversee center operations, work with students and parents, and manage a team of instructors. This center offers both in-center and online options.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, entrepreneurial, and organizational skills to successfully operate a learning center through marketing, sales, instructional leadership, parent communication, staff management, and effective administration.
This is preferably a full-time position. For the right candidate, a part-time job-share option could be available. Work hours can vary, but generally center around 12:00-6:30 M-Th and 9:00-1:30 Saturday mornings. Extensive training provided. Compensation plus bonus opportunities based on qualifications and previous experience.
