Data Center Director directs and optimizes all operations of a data center facility to ensure data performance, availability, and security. Designs operating procedures and policies for installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, networks, and storage systems within a data center to maximize operational efficiency. Being a Data Center Director monitors environmental conditions to ensure optimal temperature, humidity, and power supply to prevent downtime and protect hardware from damage. Ensures timely, accurate, and consistent technical infrastructure service and presentation to internal and external clients. Additionally, Data Center Director coordinates with outside teams to identify and implement new systems to support existing and future business needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Data Center Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Data Center Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.   • Broadmoor United Methodist Church is in search of a hard-working, dedicated person to lead the Early Learning Center, a licensed all day childcare facility. This person will oversee day-to-day operations and maintain a positive, loving environment for children. Director will guide and support Early Learning Center staff, manage the center's financial affairs, and ensure facilities are maintained according to state licensing's regulations .

    The successful applicant must demonstrate experience in directing all aspects of a licensed childcare center, as well as strong leadership skills. Applicant must also display a friendly demeanor, have a love for children, and strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment for both children and staff.
    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure a safe, happy, and Christ-like environment for children.
    • Develop and maintain curriculum and classroom activities with staff.
    • Ensure that center facilities are safe for children and comply with state laws and regulations.
    • Evaluate and purchase materials, equipment, and supplies.
    • Interview, hire, and train new staff members, ensuring they meet all policies and legal requirements.
    • Manage and support teaching staff and promote their professional development.
    • Complete ongoing training and courses to remain up to date on childcare standards and procedures.
    • Communicate and meet with parents regarding their children and the center’s policies.
    • Manage and oversee the budget and accounts of the center.
    • Qualifications:
    • Early childhood experience in a licensed childcare center required.
    • Must meet minimum director qualifications as outlined in the State of Louisiana Administrative Code.
    • Comply with local, state, and federal laws governing childcare.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
    • Friendly and approachable demeanor.
    • Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic at all times.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: From $32,000.00 per year
